Second Most Equipped Airport in Iran
Shiraz has two airports, commonly referred to as the old and new airports. The new one, Shahid Dastgheib International Airport, was established 58 years ago in 1961. It is considered one of the best airports in Iran.
After Imam Khomeini International Airport, Shiraz Airport is the second most equipped in Iran regarding navigation and electronic systems. It is the busiest airport in southern Iran and the fourth busiest in the country. Shahid Dastgheib International Airport has two runways and two separate terminals for domestic and international flights. Terminal 1 handles domestic flights, while Terminal 2 caters to international flights.

Shiraz International Airport offers regular flights to over 20 domestic and about 15 international destinations.
