To apply for a travel visa to Iran, you need to submit the following documents:
1 : Passport Scan: A color scan of your photo page from your passport (must be in color).
2 : Passport Photo: An individual colour passport photo scanned.
3 : All applications from US, UK, or Canada citizens must be accompanied with a detailed resume.

It usually takes 12 working days to process an Iran tourist visa (except for Canadian, US, and British citizens), but it can take longer depending on the volume of applications received.
