Overview

Undoubtedly, Bam Citadel is one of the most beautiful, magnificent, and ancient historical places in Iran. Unfortunately, the earthquake of January 2002 caused irreparable damage to this fantastic attraction. Nevertheless, it is still worth visiting such a gem and watching this magnificent place that shines like a treasure in the heart of the desert.

The Rayen citadel is considered the second largest adobe building in the world (after the Bam Citadel, which is considered the first adobe building in the world), which is divided into two parts, the royal and standard parts, and covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters. This citadel not only displays the magnificence of the art and architecture of our country, but it is also a document of the thousands of years of history of the Rayen region.

2 km away from the city of Mahan, there is a place that charms like a colorful paradise on the slopes of the Tigran mountains and makes every tourist stunned by its beauty. Shazdeh Mahan Garden, remembered from the Qajar era, is a lost paradise in the heart of a desert without water and grass. A place to escape from the overwhelming heat of the desert and a resort to get away from the worries of life. All the beautiful elements of traditional Iranian gardens have gathered in this place to make Shazdeh Mahan garden one of the most beautiful and best gardens in our country.
