The Parsian Esteghlal Hotel, formerly known as the Royal Hilton Hotel, was constructed on January 1, 1962 on a 70,000 square meter plot of land. The west tower, which consists of 259 rooms, was completed in the same year. Throughout the Pahlavi period, the hotel served as the venue for significant events and hosted numerous renowned international personalities.
Ten years after the west tower’s inauguration in 1970 the east tower of the Parsian Esteghlal Hotel, featuring 291 rooms, was also opened. The east tower has 20 rooms per floor, while the west tower has 18 rooms per floor.
In total, each tower offers 315 double rooms, 5 large suites, and 35 small suites. In the 1973, the south tower, which can accommodate 200 rooms, was added to the Parsian Esteghlal Hotel to further expand its capacity.
