History of the House of Golshan
Old Golshan House in Yazd was built of clay during the Qajari rule. This home consists of three linked buildings. It looks a lot like old Yazdi homes, with halls, wind towers, five and three-door rooms (sedari and panjdar), basements, and orangeries. Ali Akbar Mahalle Tali, also known as Moravvej, created the Golshan House. Because he handed this house to his daughter Bibi Fatemeh and her husband Haj Hossein Golshan, it became known as the Golshan House in Yazd.
Architecture of Laleh Hotel Yazd (Golshan House)
The Golshan House (Laleh Hotel Yazd) has three parts: the inner, the outer, and the orangery. Each part was given to a different member of the Golshan family or one of their slaves. The late Mr. Moravvej added the orangery and the outside to the house during the rule of Reza Shah. The other parts were built during the Qajar era.
It’s more than 120 years old, and each of the 42 rooms is decorated in its own unique way. You can spend your free time and talk to other people on the porch or the patio in the middle of the house. The lovely way the original building is mixed with vestibules, hallways, sedari and panjdari rooms, and the way the embroidery light reflects in the windows makes for a sweet memory. The inner courtyard was built 90 years ago during the Qajar era, which is interesting to know.

A treasure trove, including a copper caldron full of golden coins belonging to Mrs. Golshan, the late Mr. Moravvej’s wife, was discovered at this house in 1996.
