Firozabad is one of the most important and valuable tourist areas of Fars province, which, in addition to the pleasant weather and nature, contains many historical monuments. The city of Firouzabad, which is historically considered as the cradle of Sasanian architecture and art, is located in Fars province and 95 km from Shiraz city.

Starting the Tour

After picking you up from your accommodation in Shiraz early in the morning, we will drive to the south. On this tour, we’ll go to the most famous sights of Firozabad and learn more about the history and culture of that land.

This city, which is a legacy of the Sassanid era, has many amazing attractions that are highly recommended to visit. The ancient city of Gore, which is considered the first circular city in Iran, was built in ancient times by the order of Ardeshir Babkan, and Ardeshir Babkan's palace is still standing in the heart of the Firozabad plains and waiting for you.

Last attraction

The amazing Sasanian inscriptions and Dokhtar Castle are among the other historical attractions of Firozabad that we will visit today. Later in the day, we will drive back to Shiraz.
