The Carpet Museum of Ardakan was opened in 2009 in the Afzali Mansion of Ardakan.
The museum showcases the different stages of the carpet weaving cycle from setting up carpet looms to cleaning and dyeing cotton along with other handwoven creations by the people of Ardakan.
Visitors can see the different styles of carpet weaving, carpet designs exclusive to Ardakan as well as Zilou (inexpensive floor covering) weaving.
The museum also has a hall in which carpets from other parts of Iran are displayed.
Visitors can avail free date change. No cancellations and refunds can be made.
