Arghavan Traditional Residence Qazvin was originally known as the Yazdi House. It was built in the late Qajar period and was later purchased by the Cultural Heritage Organization and registered as a national monument. The Yazdi House belonged to Hajj Abolqasem Yazdi and is located in the historical district of Qazvin, near the Dolatkhaneh complex, Sa`d al-Saltaneh Caravanserai, and the Salehiyeh Passage.

Qazvin, once the capital of Iran during the Safavid era, is considered one of the top tourist destinations in Iran due to its museums, churches, old markets, and numerous beautiful historical sites. The city ranks first in Iran for the number of historical monuments. Qazvin has earned many titles over time, including the "Gateway to Heaven," "Garden City," and "Dar al-Saltaneh."

In 2020, Yazdi House was assigned for restoration and converted into a guesthouse, and in March 2022, it officially reopened as the Arghavan Traditional Guesthouse.
