
Reza Abbasi Museum, which is named after the well-known Safavid era painter, is one of the richest and most valuable museums of Tehran. Visiting this museum, you will get familiar with the art and culture of Persia from the first millennium B.C. to the Qajar era! On its four floors and five main sections, Reza Abbasi Museum displays potteries, metal objects, jewelry, textiles, paintings, calligraphies, etc. dating from pre-Islamic eras including the Achaemenid era to Islamic eras consisting of Seljuk, Timurid, Safavid, and Qajar eras. The museum has also a precious library whose books are in Persian, German, French, and English and are about the art history, archeology, painting and a lot of other subjects which can help students and researchers.
