
Located in the historic district of Tehran, Post and Communication Museum is the place where architecture and cultural history meet up! The museum is held in the previous building of Iran Post Office. It is a part of the National Garden whose amazing façade still remains. This museum was first established almost a century ago within the Central Post Office and after going through some events, it is now held in the whole building which is 15,000 square meters. To construct this building a combination of Persian and European architectures was employed.
In this museum, you can find eight sections on two stories. In these sections you can see all the equipment used to send and receive messages, the vehicles utilized to send parcels and letters to people’s homes, stamps from around the world, and many more.
