Like many capital cities around the world, Tehran can be very noisy and crowded during the weekdays. Many people who look for a cool and quiet weekend choose to journey to a nearby gorge and mountain pass called Tang-e Vashi. It is almost 160 km east of Tehran, near Firoozkuh. In this tour, you will have the chance to visit some villages, gardens and fields on your way to the gorge.
You will also visit two gorges (called Vashi and Sa), a plain (called Savashi), and a waterfall (also called Savashi). However, to visit them, you will need to walk in the river flowing in the valley and through the gorges. The first walk in the river is almost one and a half kilometers (taking one to two hours depending on your age and fitness), the second walk will be shorter and the depth of water will be less than the first part of the river, though the path will be stony. On our way, we will also visit a Qajar era inscription manifesting their hunting-ground. If you are ready for a walk in nature, book this tour at once!
