The Holy Defense Museum (HISTORY)

The Holy Defense Museum of Tehran is held in an area of 205 thousand square meters. This decade-old museum is located in a garden and has several halls to visit, namely, the Butterflies’ Hall, the Threshold Hall, the Wonder and Reality Hall, the Defense Hall, the Peace Hall, the Martyrdom Hall, the Victory Hall, and the Conclusion Hall. There is also a mosque in this museum complex which is called Khorramshahr Mosque. It is built there to remind people of the mosque in Khorramshahr (a city in the southwest of Iran) where people gathered together and made decisions to fight against the enemies and finally liberate the city. There are other parts in the complex including a cinema that we will visit in this tour.
