Dafineh Museum, previously called Money Museum, is now a museum complex consisting of the World Art Museum, Gems and Ornaments Museum, and Money Museum. The building of the museum complex was built in the 70s to be a supermarket, however, after the revolution, it has been used for different purposes. The objects displayed in the World Art Museum are chosen according to an aesthetics point of view, skills, and particular creativities. The first floor of this museum exhibits the art from around the world and the second floor is home to some Islamic era artistic works. Some of the objects in this museum date from the 4th millennium BC and some belong to the present time.
Gems and Ornaments Museum presents some prehistoric and historic jewelry, figures, ivories, and weapons. The museum is divided into four main parts (that is, social positions, ornaments, political positions, and accessories) each of which has its own subdivisions. And, the Money Museum unveils some coins from the Achaemenid period to the contemporary era, telling us the story of those reigning over this land!
