The Tour

On this trip, you will learn about one of the most popular and widely consumed drinks in Iran: tea. We will explore tea farms, visit a tea processing factory, and tour the museum dedicated to this beloved beverage.

Today, we head to Lahijan, one of the most important cities in Iran’s northern Gilan province, known for its tourism and agriculture. The city, which showcases a blend of Iranian and European architecture, is situated on the southern slopes of the Alborz mountain range.

Our full schedule today begins, of course, with tea! We will visit tea farms in Lahijan and meet the locals who work in the area. Next, we will visit the Iran National Tea Museum to learn about the history and origins of tea farming and production in Iran.
