A Day Trip to Rudkhan and Masouleh (CULTURE)

Rudkhan Castle is a beautiful destination located in the forest heights of Foman city, with approximately 1,000 steps carved out of stone. It was first discovered in 1830 by a Polish researcher named Alexander Shodzko Khachko and has since been registered in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1975. A visit to this castle is sure to be an unforgettable experience, as you will be surrounded by a soulful atmosphere and towering trees.

Additionally, Masuleh Gilan is another popular sight in Foman. It is a traditional old city with yellow houses surrounded by a green background of the forest and colorful mountains in a foggy world. What makes it so unique is that it is one of the few cities in the world where motorized vehicles are not allowed. It is believed to have been established approximately 800 to 1000 years ago and is located 5 kilometers west of the road from Masuleh to Khalkhal.
