The origins of Jamshidieh Park trace back to the Qajar era,<\/strong> when the land belonged to Jamshid Davallu<\/strong>, a Qajar royal family member. Later, Jamshid Davallu<\/strong> gifted the estate to Farah Pahlavi, the last queen of Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Although initially intended to house a nursing home, the plan was never realized. Instead, in 1977 (1356 in the Persian calendar), the area was converted into a park. In 1995 (1374 in the Persian calendar), an additional 16 hectares of land were annexed to the park, forming Ferdowsi Park, which now lies adjacent to Jamshidieh Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
