You can stay at the nice 3-star Laleh Hotel Yazd<\/strong> in the middle of the city, close to the old part of the city and tourist spots like the Golshan historical water reservoir<\/strong>. The hotel used to be a house from the Qajar era<\/strong> until about 40 years ago. The Laleh Hotel has 38 rooms in different categories that are all tastefully designed and come with all the latest conveniences. The rooms are set around an old-fashioned courtyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Laleh Hotel Yazd<\/strong> has both indoor and outdoor restaurants that serve a variety of local and foreign foods in a nice setting. The coffee shop serves fast food and a variety of cold and hot drinks in a traditional yard while Iranian classical music plays in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

History of the House of Golshan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Old Golshan House<\/strong> in Yazd<\/a><\/strong> was built of clay during the Qajari rule<\/strong>. This home consists of three linked buildings. It looks a lot like old Yazdi homes<\/strong>, with halls, wind towers, five and three-door rooms (sedari and panjdar), basements, and orangeries. Ali Akbar Mahalle Tali<\/strong>, also known as Moravvej<\/strong>, created the Golshan House<\/strong>. Because he handed this house to his daughter Bibi Fatemeh and her husband Haj Hossein Golshan<\/strong>, it became known as the Golshan House in Yazd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Golshan House<\/strong> (Laleh Hotel Yazd<\/strong>) has three parts: the inner, the outer, and the orangery. Each part was given to a different member of the Golshan family<\/strong> or one of their slaves. The late Mr. Moravvej<\/strong> added the orangery and the outside to the house during the rule of Reza Shah<\/strong>. The other parts were built during the Qajar era<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s more than 120 years old<\/strong>, and each of the 42 rooms is decorated in its own unique way. You can spend your free time and talk to other people on the porch or the patio in the middle of the house. The lovely way the original building is mixed with vestibules, hallways, sedari<\/strong> and panjdari<\/strong> rooms, and the way the embroidery light reflects in the windows makes for a sweet memory. The inner courtyard was built 90 years ago during the Qajar era, which is interesting to know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A treasure trove, including a copper caldron full of golden coins belonging to Mrs. Golshan<\/strong>, the late Mr. Moravvej’s wife<\/strong>, was discovered at this house in 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until 1987, Golshan House<\/strong> was utilized as a residence. After being abandoned for several years, it was repaired in 1999 and was ready for use three years later.
